    • Do you receive much feedback from colleagues on how effective you are as a leader?  Do you know your leadership strengths and your areas for development as a leader?

The Healthcare Leadership Model 360 feedback tool (developed by the NHS but applicable and accessible by those working across any health or care setting) is a powerful development tool to enable you to capture anonymised feedback from your manager, peers, team and others on what you do well and less well as a leader across nine leadership dimensions.  All feedback is captured electronically and compiled into a feedback report which is then explored and shared with you by a trained feedback facilitator in a 1:1 session.

You can complete the self-assessment free of charge.  There is a fee for use of the wider tool.

      • Coaching, mentoring, buddying & peer support can all be valuable tools to support you on your leadership and management journey.  You can find out more about coaching here.  Or if you would like to find a coach or mentor to support your development as a leader or manager, visit our ICS Coaching and Mentoring Hub.

        • We are excited to announce the launch of Cohorts 3 and 4 of the Systems Leadership Approach Programme, a unique development opportunity designed for leaders across all 11 Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). This programme is open to health and social care leaders (up to Band 8a or equivalent). It equips them with the skills to navigate the complexities of integrated health and care systems, foster cross-sector collaboration and drive meaningful change. Whether you are leading teams, managing services or contributing to system-wide transformation, this programme will enhance your leadership impact.

To ensure equity across all systems, we are currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs). This approach allows us to distribute this opportunity fairly across the Midlands, providing leadership development opportunities that reflect the diverse needs and voices within each system. We have two cohorts, each with 30 spaces, so don’t miss this chance to join a group of like-minded leaders committed to shaping the future of healthcare.
