Who We Are
We are a wellbeing and recovery college made up from a partnership of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, Voluntary and Community Sector organisations (VCS), Public Sector partners and our Experts by Experience across our communities in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Our aim is to increase awareness and understanding of recovery and self-management, while breaking down the stigmas relating to mental health.
Operating across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Wellbeing and Recovery College
The Wellbeing and Recovery College was originally commissioned by NHS Charities Together and the Herefordshire and Worcestershire NHS Integrated Care Services. Community First was selected as the lead delivery organization to bring together NHS and Voluntary Sector organisations in partnership for the delivery of this project, which continues to be led by Community First.
Courses listed at the college have been developed by professionals; including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Mental Health workers, Tutors and specialist support organisations.
Evidence tells us that by coming together and learning more about health and wellbeing we can make the most of our strengths, talents and resources.
